This law aims to provide unbiased information, uphold citizens’ rights, and ensure the following:

📺 The law aims to serve Azerbaijani society’s overall interests, covering social, scientific, educational, cultural, and entertainment fields.
📜 It is grounded in the Constitution, this law, and relevant legislative acts.
🌐 International agreements, differing from this law, apply in Azerbaijan’s public television and radio broadcasting.
🔒 Key principles include independence, impartiality, truthfulness, pluralism, and promoting national development.
📻 Public broadcasting operates as the “Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.”
📡 Licenses are granted indefinitely and fee-free by the state.
🎙️ The company has various rights, including creating broadcasting services, producing programs, and providing additional services.
📚 It preserves and showcases artistic, cultural, and historical works, and disseminates information about state activities.
📢 It informs citizens about key events, state activities, political parties, organizations, and religious institutions.
🚫 Broadcasting explicit material, violence, hate speech, or content against personal values is prohibited.
🚭 The law bans promoting tobacco products, harmful content, and content detrimental to children.
